Cut the hype.
Ship real AI.

I work with teams who are serious about AI — not the demo kind, but the kind that runs in production, handles edge cases, and actually reduces the work humans have to do.

The conversation I'm having with teams today about AI — the resistance, the skepticism, the "we tried that and it didn't work" — is the same conversation I was part of a decade ago with network automation. The difference is now I have the pattern recognition to explain why things are the way they are, not just what to do about them.

What Blue Ridge Systems delivers

🤖

Agentic Workflow Design

Multi-agent systems that handle complex, multi-step processes end-to-end. LangGraph, LangChain, custom orchestration. Built to run in production, not just notebooks.

Workflow Automation

Turn your most tedious processes into automated pipelines. Document generation, data transformation, API integrations, scheduled agents. Real time savings, measurable ROI.

🔧

AI Systems Integration

Connect LLMs to your existing tools and data. REST APIs, webhooks, database connectors, custom middleware. I speak both AI and infrastructure.

DevOps & Infrastructure

Two decades of infrastructure experience. CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud deployment, monitoring. Your AI needs reliable infrastructure beneath it.

I've done this before.
Different technology. Same fight.

After SDN collapsed under its own hype, the networking industry was burned. The argument that followed was familiar: we can't trust software to run our infrastructure. Network engineers had spent years being told automation was the future, watched it fail, and were done being sold promises.

I spent the next several years helping change that narrative — not from the outside, but from inside a fast-moving Silicon Valley engineering organization at Apstra. I didn't just talk about what was possible. I built CloudLabs — a global cloud platform on AWS that let skeptical engineers and customers get their hands on working software instead of taking anyone's word for it. Let the product make the argument.

What made the difference wasn't just the technology. It was being thrown into a real software engineering team — not a network engineering team learning to code, but an actual startup engineering org moving fast. I had to learn to swim. I picked up the tools, the practices, the mindset. Then I went home on Saturdays and learned it the right way. The books, the materials, the foundations. Both things were necessary.

That background put me around the right people early. I was hearing about RAG and vector databases before they were products — before most people were even asking the right questions. I've been building with agents and LLMs long enough to know where the hype ends and where the real leverage begins.

Things I've actually built

Apstra CloudLabs

Took a handful of Ansible scripts and rebuilt them into a global platform — Flask + Celery + Redis backend, React/TypeScript frontend, bare metal AWS instances across 6 regions, integrated into engineering's KVM virtualization layer and Jenkins CI/CD. Sales could put a live product build in front of a customer within hours. Scaled to support Juniper's global sales and support org post-acquisition. Four people. Survived an acquisition. Became the backbone of company-wide onboarding. Still running.

apstra-api-python

Open source Python client for the Juniper Apstra API. Built to close the gap between network engineers and programmatic infrastructure — educational as much as functional. In continuous use since 2019.

PythonOpen SourceNetworkingAPI

PRD Builder

LangGraph pipeline that ingests Trello boards, user stories, and codebase context to auto-generate complete Product Requirements Documents. Replaced 6+ hours of manual work per sprint.

LangGraphPythonAutomation

geoBuilder A2A

Webflow CMS automation + A2A Protocol endpoint built for Blue Ridge Systems. AI agents can now discover and query the firm's services, case studies, and availability directly.
